Beerdy – Bruce Lee Central:

Welcome to Beerdy – Bruce Lee Central. Hey everybody, it’s Beerdy here, what’s going on, guys? Okay, so the photo you’re looking at now is the only photo of this incident. So, back in the 60s, Bruce Lee was invited to all kinds of Karate, exhibitions and stuff like that. And he would always be the guy that would give out the trophies at the end of the exhibition, and sometimes tournaments too. And in the mid 60s, when this photo was taken, Bruce Lee was at one of those exhibitions or tournaments, we don’t really know which one it is.

Beerdy – Bruce Lee Central:

This story comes from a guy, a Kenpo karate legend Holmes. The photo and the story comes from him. He was there when this happened. And he said that during the exhibition and the tournament, this guy, Baxter, that’s the guy in this photo, he was just saying sh*t about Bruce Lee because Bruce Lee was holding an exhibition of himself doing like, you know, the one inch punch, the one finger push-ups etc etc. And he was saying that it’s all nonsense, it’s just for show and I mean, he’s nobody, he doesn’t really know martial arts etc etc.

Beerdy – Bruce Lee Central:

He was saying that to Holmes during the exhibition in the tournament. And finally, at the end when Bruce Lee was given out the trophies and Bruce Lee had a little speech, after a little speech, this guy, this Baxter goes up on the podium here, where this little microphone is, and we don’t know what they said to each other but they got into a heated debate or whatever and he grabbed, the Baxter tried to grab Bruce Lee. And in just a fraction of a second, Bruce Lee landed a brutal punch and that’s what you’re seeing here in this picture. This guy just basically collapsed from one punch from, I’m guessing this is the one inch punch he landed on him.

Beerdy – Bruce Lee Central:

We don’t know what was said but probably something like, “hey, Bruce that one-inch punch of yours is bullsh*t and Bruce was like, really? Okay, here, take one. And then he ate the one inch punch and that’s the end result. This is what happens when Bruce Lee actually puts power behind his one inch punch. I mean, this guy, I wish I could have seen this, man. This guy looks like he got hit by a semi truck. Oh, man, I wish they had cameras when this happened because this is amazing.

So, thanks to Kenpo Karate legend Holmes for bringing me this photo and this story. And yeah, I mean, there you go, guys. What can I say, Bruce Lee has the power of a semi truck, it seems like. Okay, see you guys later. Bye.
