Oh yeah. As you can see, I’m back with another, late night video,  just scrolling through my google icons and here’s something I came across, you know,  something very interesting to me,  you know what what I mean.  A debate about you know, who would win in a fight between Bruce Lee and Muhammad Ali.  So I came across this article,  that I felt  I would share  with you all and we can kind of entertain each other and talk about it real quick. You know what I mean, so let’s get into it.

Forgotten KingzTv:

Enter the Dragon director Clouse, worked closely with Lee in the 1973 cult classic, revealed that the Hong Kong American former actor opened up about the outcome of a fight.

He wrote in the 1987 book The Making of Enter the Dragon: “Another time Yeung, aka [Bolo] went to see Bruce at Golden Harvest Studios. Bruce was screening a Cassius Clay [Muhammas Ali] documentary.

“Ali was world heavyweight champion at the time and Bruce saw him as the greatest fighter of them all.

Forgotten KingzTv:

“The documentary showed Ali in several of his fights. Bruce set up a wide full-length mirror to reflect Ali’s image from the screen. Bruce was looking into the mirror, moving along with Ali.

“Bruce’s right hand followed Ali’s right hand, Ali’s left foot followed Bruce’s left foot. Bruce was fighting in Ali’s shoes.

“‘Everybody says I must fight Ali someday.’ Bruce said, ‘I’m studying every move he makes. I’m getting to know how he thinks and moves.’

“Bruce knew he could never win a fight against Ali. ‘Look at my hand,’ he said. ‘That’s a little Chinese hand. He’d kill me.'”

Forgotten KingzTv:

I thought this was hilarious. You know what I mean. Just the fact that even somebody like Bruce Lee being like, you know, the King of the Martial Arts World, Fighting World at that time. Especially when it came to Hollywood and the movies.  He was found in such a high regard that even him,  could say out loud, you know, come on, Ali would kill me. You know that speaks volumes about the type of character that Bruce Lee possessed.  And like I said, you know both fighters in the prime of their careers. It was before my time you know, we grew up,  and we had to watch so many documentaries and you know,  highlights,  and do studies,  and researches on these fighters,  so I thought that was kind of eye-opening to say,  even from Bruce Lee who was an actor on the screen.

Forgotten KingzTv:

I mean, I don’t think he had too many professional fights compared to Muhammad. Muhammad Ali who was a true fighter, true boxer you know. He fought some of the greatest fighters ever seen on this planet. Seeing somebody like Bruce Lee, you know,  humble himself and say “you’re crazy,  look at this cat” the fact that Bruce Lee was sitting there studying Muhammad Ali. Should already let you know how Bruce Lee really felt like in his mind,  that Ali was the best. And two,  Ali wasn’t a joke man. Yeah, he got some L’s on his record, but at the end of the day,  he fought with heart. That’s all that matters,  and I think that’s what attracted Bruce Lee to Muhammad Ali.

The fact is,  no matter what you say or know,   Ali’s showed up…showed up,  you know what I mean? Regardless of what you say, he left it all out there in the ring. And that right there,  amongst real men,  will definitely, you know what I mean ,  get you respect. Definitely get you admiration. So for me, to even just sit back and think myself.

Forgotten KingzTv:

Who would win a fight between Bruce Lee and Muhammad Ali? I have, to have to say man, you got to give it to Muhammad Ali, a real fighter. Now, I was doing some research and seeing a couple of articles talking about the situation. I don’t know if y’all remember or some of y’all have seen the movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” that came out last year. A lot of Bruce Lee fans who were upset because the movie depicted Bruce Lee’s character as cocky and arrogant. And apparently in the movie there was a line where Bruce Lee’s character said that you know , if he actually fought Ali in real life,  he would make him a cripple. Bruce Lee’s fans didn’t like that,  cuz they felt,  like that’s not something that you know,  would accurately,  you know , that’s not something accurately,  that you know,  that Bruce lee would say in real life.

Forgotten KingzTv:

So you have people come out. You know,  many friends to actually work with Bruce Lee,  that said ‘nah’ that doesn’t even,  you know , that’s not even how Bruce Lee would,  you know,  talk in public or talk about people. He always you know, he was taught discipline. You know what I mean, it’s respect and you know, admire people,  you know what I mean, that’s just who he was. So a lot people were upset about that.

Forgotten KingzTv:

I leave the article and uh the link to the article,  in the description box for you guys to check out. But like I said, I’m up late night and I’m thinking to myself, like that we hear about Ali and Tyson, but never heard about Ali and Bruce Lee debates before. You know, like I said, to me, it’s just very humble to hear,  and know,  Bruce Lee would sit back and study Muhammad Ali. I mean literally study up,  I mean that’s crazy right there, but it goes to show you that when you  want to be great, you have too study all people. And Ali at that time was the best. So like I said, you gotta give props to Ali man, you know,  he will always be one of the greatest. You know what I mean, in my opinion,  he is the greatest boxer of all-time.

Forgotten KingzTv:

You know I mean, please don’t debate me on this. You know what I mean, and shout out to Bruce Lee,  he’s also one of the goats as well,  and in the world,  you know what I mean , in fighting,  mixed martial arts, with the same influence and impact he had.  A lot of people got upset about the Michael Jai White interviews because he kept them honest.  And say hey, I can’t disrespect real fighters in the world. You know what I mean, that actually go out there, you know, blood, sweat, tears, and a rank.  Bruce Lee who was the actor fight, you know what I mean, had experienced fighting,  but and in the real ring, you know , me OCTAGON full men, I’m pretty sure Bruce Lee would’ve definitely hurt some of these cats today,  who’d leave it all out there.

Forgotten KingzTv:

But uh, I just wanted to know what  you guys think. You know what I mean, in a fight. You all let me know in the comments below, who do y’all think would win in a fight,  I guess  boxing, octagon,  however you want to set up the rules and make it fair. And who do you think, do you even think Bruce Lee would have a chance? Let me know, in the movies seen what he did with Kareem big ass. It’s safe to say, you know he might have shocked the world. Who knows man. He probably would have shocked the world. Who knows, but good it’s good to see that in Bruce Lee’s heart,  he knew that Ali was the man. So, you know, make sure y’all subscribe like this video, share this video, and I’m Sensei Rip. I’ll be back with some more heat… Peace!
