Bruce Lee is not that popular during that time. He was invited to the Karate tournament by Kenpo Grandmaster Ed Parker. Vic Moore then participated in a martial arts speed drill against Bruce Lee, who is the founder of Jeet Kune Do. Well, the main point of the speed drill challenge was to stop Bruce Lee’s notable “Unstoppable Punch.” Bruce Lee allegedly told Moore that he was going to throw a straight punch to Moore’s face.

BruceLeeRealFight (YouTube Channel):
Bruce Lee told Moore that all he had to do was to try to block it. Moore can either block it or stop Bruce Lee’s punch. Bruce Lee took several steps back and asked Moore, “Are you ready to block my punch?” Moore said, “Yes.” When Moore nodded in affirmation, Bruce Lee glided towards him until he was within striking range. He then threw a straight punch directly at Moore’s face.

BruceLeeRealFight (YouTube Channel):
So as you can see from the footage here, Bruce Lee stopped the punch before impact. In eight attempts, Moore failed to block any of the punches from Bruce Lee. Let’s watch it in normal speed again and again. Vic Moore was born on August 23rd, 1943. He holds a 10th degree Black Belt in Karate and was one of the late Robert Trias’, Chief instructors of the Shuri-ryu Karate system. He has studied martial arts for over 50 years.
