Yuen Wah is a Hong Kong action film actor, action choreographer, stuntman and martial artist who has appeared in over 160 films and over 20 television series.

Known for his agility and acrobatic skills, Yuen Wah began his film career working as Bruce Lee’s stunt double in the films Fist of Fury (1972) and Enter the Dragon (1973). He also made his acting debut in Fist of Fury, as a Japanese who asks Bruce Lee’s character to crawl like a dog and is soundly beaten for it.

Yuen Wah (Bruce Lee’s Stunt Double):

I knew Bruce Lee from Fist of Fury… I remember a time getting those… sand bags, you know, a shield of sand bags… And then 5 of us withstanding his one side kick… But then after he kicked, the 5 of us were like bowling pins ricocheting and bouncing in all directions. In Enter the Dragon, Bruce wanted to add uh… a little something extra to his movements.

Yuen Wah (Bruce Lee’s Stunt Double):

So… he wanted me to double him for a back-flip. But, he actually knows how though… What does he know? Cartwheel. I would double him for the back-flip. So… when flipping over the monks, over their sleeves… I doubled him there. After passing them… flipping and landing, even his backside is me doubling Bruce walking like this. Doubled his backside walking too.
