What’s going on everyone? It’s Aseel Soueid. In this video, I’m going to eat like Sylvester Stallone for a day. So, I’m going to be attempting a day in the diet of Sylvester Stallone. And I’m very excited for this one, because Sylvester Stallone is somebody that I actually looked up to when I first started bodybuilding, getting into fitness, and every man and his father wants to look like him back in the day. Well, every man and his father still wants to look like him now in days. But anyways guys, his diet is going to consist of a little bit over 2,300 calories coming from 5 clean meals. Okay, I just got done making meal number 1 and this is by far the weirdest combination of foods that I’ve ever had in just one meal in this celebrity in the diet video series. Seriously, this is unreal. I have 3 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 2 pieces of gluten-free toast, along with 4 dates and then a cup of oatmeal to the side, and this is where it gets super crazy. Okay, a cup of black coffee with aminos to the side. Who in the world drinks aminos and coffee together? I have no idea but it is Sylvester Stallone we’re talking about here. He’s an absolute savage. So, anyways, we’re just gonna get down to business with this. I don’t even know where to start, like the coffee, the aminos, the oatmeal, the weird omelette like thing that I tried making which I totally failed at by the way, but it is what it is.

Okay, this omelette creation is not bad. Not at all. But the dates, kind of weird. Eggs and bread baby, cannot go wrong. Oh man, there’s a whole lot of eggs. Okay, so, the bread and the eggs are complete. Now, we have the dates. I guess this is like a sweet treat, right? I’m a big fan of dates but I typically don’t eat them because they’re super high in carbs, but this is like an easy way to get some quick carbohydrates and especially for someone as busy as Sylvester Stallone would be, but not prob. Digging it. You know what, I have an idea here guys. Check it out. We’re gonna put this on top of the oatmeal. I feel like this would make the plain oats taste 10 times better, right? Let’s get this dry carbs on top of carbs baby. That’s not bad, not at all. You know what, this is actually not bad of a combination at all. It’s like sweet and savory.

Alright guys, now this is where it gets downright dirty. So, coffee and aminos, where do I even start? I’m gonna go with the coffee first, and look I made sure that this cup of coffee was not hot so I could literally just do this. Cheers. Ugh… that is something you do with an espresso, definitely not a whole cup of black coffee. We’re gonna wash it down with some aminos. Why in the world would you do this? Why in the world would you do this? Okay. Wow! That was actually pretty good because it was blue raspberry flavored but after black coffee, especially chugging a cup of black coffee – would not recommend that. Okay. So, we have meal number 2 which is simply going to be 1 scoop of whey protein powder. So, this is going to be the pre-workout meal aka pre-workout protein shake. So, we’re just gonna do it like this. You guys already know how I like to do it. And there you have it. It is as simple as 1-2-3 or I guess you could say PRE for like, pre-workout or something, but whatever. Anyways, that was some vanilla goodness. But anyways guys, we are headed to the gym, going to do some weight training about 30 minutes from now and I’m a little hyped up. Those dates actually make me feel super pumped. I forget how much of like, a quick carbohydrate those can be. So, I kind of like, start including them pre-workout in my typical daily diet but anyways, let’s get to the gym.

Alright, welcome back. So, here we are yet again, meal number 3 is going to consist of the post-workout protein shake. So, of course, we have got ourselves another scoop of vanilla impact whey protein powder. So, anyways guys, that was an epic workout. Seriously, it felt really good and it’s just time for the shake. So, let’s just slug this sucker down, okay. I’m telling you don’t straight “Rambo style” on these protein shakes.

Aseel Soueid:

Okay, moving on to meal number 4. We finally have a solid meal but this is going to consist of 8 ounces of cooked boneless, skinless, chicken breast, a cup and a half of mixed salad, 2 cups of cooked zucchini, 2 tbsp of light balsamic vinaigrette on top and along with 4 dates yet again. So, I don’t know if it’s Rocky, I don’t know if it’s Rambo, but one of them likes dates a lot. But anyways, guys this is like one massive salad pretty much. So, let’s dig right into it.

You know what, I’ll tell you one thing. So, this has pretty much all the filling foods you can put in one plate for a salad; zucchini, chicken breast and mix salad. Very filling, very filling. For real though, if you are looking to fill yourself up when you’re dieting, try adding zucchinis into your diet, like put them in your egg whites, again put them in salads just like this, like put them in pretty much any kind of meal. It adds a lot of volume without adding tons of calories. So, definitely, a good move – zucchini. Try it out.

Okay. So, now we got the good stuff. We got the dates. Yeah, I don’t know what Stallone’s fascination is with dates, but I’m not complaining, they’re very good. Okay guys, that’s gonna conclude meal number 4. I mean, look it wasn’t the tastiest thing in the world but it could be worse. Like, it could have been The Rock where he doesn’t add any kind of condiments, like the balsamic vinaigrette in his meals. So, I’m not complaining here. This is pretty good, okay. Anyways guys, time to move on to the next meal in just a little bit. I’ll see you all for the last and final meal in a moment.

Okay, so, I just got done making the last and final meal in Sylvester Stallone’s diet. And I’m in for quite a unique treat here, because this is going to consist of 2 slices of gluten-free bread with 6 ounces of chicken breast, more salad on top and 2 more tbsp of light balsamic vinaigrette. So, this is pretty much the most depressing version of a chicken salad sandwich that you could possibly make, but look, we’re living in the day in the diet of Sylvester Stallone here. So, we’re just gonna go with it, okay. I am very very very scared. I don’t know if this is gonna be good, it’s gonna be bad. I really don’t know what to expect but I’m a guinea pig as always. Cheers! It’s so depressingly good. No, it’s horrible but it is what it is man. I don’t know what Stallone likes more; his bread, his chicken, the salad, the balsamic vinaigrette or the freaking days. Who knows at this point.

Aseel Soueid:

Okay, you know what that reminded me of? If you ever went to a fast food chain like McDonald’s or Wendy’s and looked at the menu and saw a picture of a chicken sandwich or a burger that you really wanted because it looked so good, and after you ordered it, you get your order, you unravel that packaging and you were just insanely disappointed at what you’re looking at. That is exactly what this reminded me of. That’s pretty much the level of disappointment that I am feeling right now. So, yeah, not much to say about that.

So, the total macros and calories in Sylvester Stallone’s diet consisted of 2,348 calories coming from 273g of carbs, 60g of fat and 183g of protein, which is surprisingly very similar to what I personally follow on a daily basis for my own personal fitness goals. However, I definitely would choose different foods in my personal diet plan; one or two hot. But look guys, always remember; in life, it ain’t about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.
