Any moviegoer and especially fans of the action genre would be familiar with the name Jason Statham. He is now one of very few English actors to find success in American action films and one of the 21 century’s most bankable action stars. In today’s video, let’s get to know more about this leading man and some interesting facts about his personal life.

Jason Statham is known mostly as a national movie hero who is nicknamed by his fans “The Stath” or “Stath”. Jason is in great physical shape and although he’s not so young already, he looks much better than some of his younger colleagues. The star couldn’t have developed his physical and mental abilities without help and inspiration he got from his parents’ family.
Stath’s parents both were close to art. His father, Barry, used to be a loud singer and also worked out jobs as a house painter or coal miner. His mother Eileen earned her living as a dancer. He has an older brother named Lee. He works as a music artist in England, United Kingdom.

Jason Statham is a strong and very attractive man but he can’t be called a Hollywood hot throb because his dating history is extremely short. In 2011, he started dating Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who was 20 years junior.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is an English model and actress, born on April 18, 1987 in Plymouth, England. She’s best known for her work for lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret, formerly being one of their brand “Angels”, for being the face of Burberry’s 2011 brand fragrance “Burberry Body”, for her work with Marks & Spencer, and, most recently, for her artistic collaboration with denim-focused fashion brand Paige.

Moving into acting, Whiteley had appeared in the 2011 film Transformers: Dark of the Moon in the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road.
The couple was quite contradictory. Rosie is higher than a loved one. She’s much younger and family background is absolutely different. Jason comes from a working class family. His loved one has a risk to credit roots. In spite of their age and social difference, Rosie and Jason got engaged on the 10th of January, 2016. [Inaudible] and look extremely happy. When Jason was asked what the secret of their happiness is, he answered “we just get drunk and float around the swimming pool”.

Jack Oscar Statham is the first child of the couple. He was born on June 24, 2017, with 8.8 lbs. His mother shared a picture of him on Instagram where Rosie was holding the hand of her son. In the caption she wrote, “Our little man arrived!”
Most celebrities love sharing their lives and kids in the media while some celebs prefer to stay away from the limelight. This is because their parents protect their childhood and privacy. Whether keeping them away from camera lenses, paparazzi, similarly Statham and his wife never show the face of their son. Now, Jack Oscar is 4 years old who is growing up gradually.

In 2021, Rosie announced they were expecting their second child together. The happy family currently resides in Beverly Hills, California.
