Hello, friends! Today, you’ll see how actors of the movie Mortal Kombat have changed. You’ll know their original names and age. I will show you how they looked then, in 1995, and what’s with them now, in 2021. Don’t forget to like and subscribe to the channel. Let’s go!

BIG STAR-X:

Raiden (played by Christopher Lambert) is the eternal God of Thunder. He bent on doing all within his power to help the warriors of Earth gain victory in the Mortal Kombat tournament. Raiden also possesses a sense of humor. Raiden is forbidden from directly interfering in the tournament, an idea that was also used in the games.

BIG STAR-X:

Shang Tsung (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) is a powerful, soul stealing sorcerer, serves as the host for the traditional Mortal Kombat tournament. Although a powerful warrior, Shang Tsung regularly resorted to intimidation and trickery when dealing with his enemies. He lures Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, and Sonya Blade to the tournament.

BIG STAR-X:

Johnny Cage in the film, he is a Hollywood action movie star who is branded a fake by the media, and seeks to prove otherwise to the world. During the tournament, Johnny Cage fought Scorpion and won, and later caused the demise of Goro, avenging the death of a fellow fighter named Art Lean. He was portrayed by Linden Ashby.

BIG STAR-X:

Kano (Trevor Goddard) is the leader of the Black Dragon clan. He is a ruthless scoundrel and archnemesis to Sonya Blade and the Special Forces. Shang Tsung hires Kano to lure Sonya into the Mortal Kombat tournament and promises to grant Kano the reward he desires for his efforts after he faces off against Sonya in the tournament.

BIG STAR-X:

Kuai Liang, better known as Sub-Zero (played by François Petit) is the Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei assassin clan in Mortal Kombat. Sub-Zero appears as a guardian of Shang Tsung. He confronts Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, and Sonya Blade alongside Scorpion, and the two prepare to fight the trio before being incapacitated by Raiden.

BIG STAR-X:

Liu Kang (Robin Shou), he serves as the protagonist of Mortal Kombat. He became the Grand Champion of Mortal Kombat throughout the first four tournaments. Liu Kang’s brother Chan was killed by Shang Tsung. The guilt of his brother’s death provides Kang’s primary motivation for competing in the Mortal Kombat tournament.

BIG STAR-X:

Hanzo Hasashi, better known as Scorpion (Chris Casamassa). Scorpion appears in the Mortal Kombat movie as one of Shang Tsung’s guardians. He engages in combat with Johnny Cage in a forest before teleporting both Cage and himself to his lair in the Netherrealm and coming close to victory, but he is ultimately defeated.

BIG STAR-X:

Princess Kitana (Talisa Soto) is 10,000 years old, but is considered young in her realm of Edenia and has the appearance of a young woman. Throughout the years, she rose to great importance; first as the loyal stepdaughter of Shao Kahn, then as his enemy, tearing herself away from his grasp and freeing her home realm.

BIG STAR-X:

Syzoth, more commonly referred to as Reptile (played by Keith Cooke). Reptile has been a well-known servant to the Outworld Empire, faithfully serving the Outworld Emperor Shao Kahn while remaining loyal to his master Shang Tsung. Reptile received orders from Shang Tsung to keep Liu Kang and the other humans away from Kitana.




BIG STAR-X:

Chan Kang (Steven Ho) is the younger brother of the fighter Liu Kang. One night, the Outworld sorcerer Shang Tsung visits the temple and engages Chan in combat, hoping to remove one of Earthrealm’s would-be defenders. Chan fights valiantly, but he is no match for Tsung and is killed, his soul being consumed by the sorcerer.

BIG STAR-X:

Master Boyd (Peter Jason) seems to be one of Johnny Cage’s martial arts instructors, to whom Johnny shows much respect and admiration. He informs Johnny of Shang Tsung’s tournament. He claimed that if Johnny were to win this competition, the entire world would be informed that Johnny’s martial arts prowess was not fake.

BIG STAR-X:

Sandy Helberg is a German-born American actor. He performed stand-up comedy and was part of an improv group that appeared in clubs. Acting in several comedy films, in particular High Anxiety, Spaceballs, he starred in the comedy film Up the Creek. In the film Mortal Kombat he played a director who is shooting Johnny Cage.

BIG STAR-X:

Goro (played by Tom Woodruff Jr.) is the Prince of the Shokan. Goro appears in the Mortal Kombat movie as Shang Tsung’s most loyal servant and protector as well as the reigning champion of Mortal Kombat, having granted Shang Tsung nine victories in a row. Goro thinks very unfavorably of humans, considering them weak.

BIG STAR-X:

Jax Briggs is a police officer. Appears briefly at the start of the first Mortal Kombat movie. He, along with Sonya, breaks into a nightclub to find Kano. He later tries to persuade Sonya not to follow Kano to Shang Tsung’s ship. His role in the film was portrayed by Gregory McKinney. McKinney died from a brain aneurysm.

BIG STAR-X:

The Chief Priest is the leader of the Order of Light which also worships Lord Raiden. He does not allow Liu Kang to take part in Mortal Kombat (since he cares more about avenging his brother’s death than for the fate of the world), but Liu Kang decides to enter anyway. This character is portrayed by actor John Fujioka.

BIG STAR-X:

Art Lean (Kenneth Edwards) is an Earthrealm fighter and meets Johnny Cage on the dock. He is one of the few people who believe in the authenticity of Johnny Cage’s martial arts. He is slain by Goro in battle, and his soul becomes absorbed by Shang Tsung. Cage avenges him, after that Art’s soul is free and he goes to the afterlife.

BIG STAR-X:

Sonya Blade (Bridgette Wilson). Sonya’s pursuit of Kano leads her to Shang Tsung’s boat, where she meets Liu Kang and Johnny Cage. The three of them are chosen by Raiden to represent Earthrealm in the Mortal Kombat tournament, and it’s there that Sonya encounters Kano and defeats him, avenging the murder of her partner.

BIG STAR-X:

The Fighting Monk was an Outworld warrior, and was the first opponent that Liu Kang had to fight in the Mortal Kombat movie in order to advance further into the tournament. After he was defeated by Liu Kang, Shang Tsung took his soul. The character was played by veteran martial artist and kick-boxing champion Hakim Alston.
