BruceLeeRealFight:

Welcome to BruceLeeRealFight channel. This is a video that looks like a stunt double from Enter the Dragon challenging Bruce Lee. As you can see here, Bruce Lee fainted with his right hand at the challenger’s face, the challenger was cheated. And when he tries to block Bruce Lee’s punch, Bruce Lee is ready to give him a full force sidekick. Luckily, Bruce Lee did not do that, otherwise this stunt double is going to be in big trouble. Everything happened in less than just 1 second. We have to watch it in slow motion in order to understand what’s actually happened on the set of Enter the Dragon.

BruceLeeRealFight:

During the filming of Enter the Dragon, there was an extra who challenged Bruce Lee to a real fight on the set and the fight was witnessed by a few onlookers including Bob Wall, Jim Kelly, and others. We have covered the story in this channel. Do check out this channel if you are interested in that story. However, the video here is definitely another story.

BruceLeeRealFight:

This footage is behind the scenes of Bruce Lee’s 1973 Enter the Dragon. It is not a real fight between an extra and Bruce Lee. It is actually a rehearsal of a stunt double and Bruce Lee for the iconic final fight scene between Lee and Han in a mirrored room, which was not in the original script. This challenger is actually a stunt double for Shih Kien, who played the role of a villain, Han, in the movie. He is wearing the same costume as Han and the name of this stan double is Lam Ching Ying.

BruceLeeRealFight:

Lam Ching Ying was a Hong Kong popular stuntman, actor, action director and martial artist. You might not recognize him from this angle but if you are a Bruce Lee fan and you watch all Bruce Lee’s movies, including The Big Boss, Fist of Fury, Way of the Dragon, you will notice him in all these movies. For example, in Bruce Lee’s 1971 movie The Big Boss Lam played the role as one of Bruce Lee’s cousins who work at the ice factory. Although this is not a real fight between Lam and Bruce Lee, Lam did challenge Bruce Lee in a hotel room in real life.

BruceLeeRealFight:

While they were in a hotel room, Bruce Lee prepared two pillows for Lam to put on his chest and stomach. Bruce Lee then used his famous sidekick to strike the pillow and send Lam flying all the way to the back. Just like the footage here, if Bruce Lee didn’t hold back and sidekick Lam, Lam would have been out of the scene and found somewhere else.
