Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris Real Fight. Did it really happen? If yes, who won? We all know that Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris was good friends and they did a lot of training together, during almost two years.
Chuck Norris (American martial artist, actor, film producer & screenwriter):
I met Bruce Lee in 1968 when I won the World Championship in New York City at Madison Square Garden. So we started training in his backyard for like two years.
Best Fight Scenes Ever (YouTube Channel):
Ok, they worked out together, but; what they were doing during those training’s? Who was the master? Who was the student? Did they ever challenge each other and fought? They were sparring? Especially, why would a World Champion would spend two years by training with an actor? Then, Chuck Norris was Bruce Lee’s teacher? If Chuck Norris was the master of Bruce Lee, why he never mentioned about that?
TV Host interviewing Chuck Norris:Â
You mean, let’s work out? You go like…

Chuck Norris (American martial artist, actor, film producer & screenwriter):
That’s right. We just worked out.
TV Host interviewing Chuck Norris:
Like you used barbells together?
Chuck Norris (American martial artist, actor, film producer & screenwriter):
No, punching bags and you know, kicking and kicking the bag and all this kind of stuff.
TV Host interviewing Chuck Norris
You’re not fighting each other?
Chuck Norris (American martial artist, actor, film producer & screenwriter)Â
No. You know I was a professional fighter.

TV Host interviewing Chuck Norris:
And he was not.
Chuck Norris (American martial artist, actor, film producer & screenwriter):
No, but he was good. He was good.
TV Host interviewing Chuck Norris:
So you could have beaten him?
Chuck Norris (American martial artist, actor, film producer & screenwriter):
But I don’t even know, I didn’t want to go there. I didn’t go and we just didn’t want to.

TV Host interviewing Chuck Norris:
You’re being modest.
Chuck Norris (American martial artist, actor, film producer & screenwriter):Â
Bruce didn’t want to go there and I didn’t want to go there.
Best Fight Scenes Ever (YouTube Channel):
So, according to Chuck Norris, “They never did even a friendly match sparring.” To be honest, this is a bit weird because as he mentioned, Chuck Norris had world championship title at that time and this audio record shows us clearly that, “Challenging and being challenged was an ordinary part of his life, for Bruce Lee.” How those two competitive fighters never attempted to measure them self against each other?
Bruce, as a screen tough guy, you are going to have to suffer what all movie heroes suffered; challenges from exhibitionists and nuts asking you to fight, challenging you to fight. It’s already been known to happen, hasn’t it?
Bruce Lee (Hong Kong and American actor/ film director/ Martial Artist/ Martial Arts Instructor:
 Yes, it has.

TV Host interviewing Bruce Lee:
How do you deal with it?
Bruce Lee (Hong Kong and American actor/ film director/ Martial Artist/ Martial Arts Instructor:
When I first learned martial art, I too have challenged many established instructors and of course, some other challenging in New York.
Chuck Norris (American martial artist, actor, film producer & screenwriter):
But the thing is, is that our exercise routine lasted about three hours and it consisted of push-ups, sit-ups, kicking the bag, sparring.
Best Fight Scenes Ever (YouTube Channel):
“So, AT LAST!! Chuck Norris accepted that they did some sparring. So, let’s dig this a bit…”

TV Host interviewing Chuck Norris:
You two sparred, we you always gentlemen about it or…?
Chuck Norris (American martial artist, actor, film producer & screenwriter):
“Oh no yeah, we were gentlemen about it. You know I was still a fighter at that time, so my competitiveness was still there. But no, the thing is, is that we were respectful to each other as we worked out and sparred. No, Bruce and I never fought, fought, you know…”
Best Fight Scenes Ever (YouTube Channel):
At the end, according to Chuck Norris, they NEVER EVER FOUGHT…Â But people who know both sides pretty well, do NOT agree on that with Chuck Norris…Â First Jim Kelly (Williams, “Enter the Dragon”) then, Grand Master, William Cheung and his son.
Jim Kelly talking about Bruce Lee:Â
I mean I’ve fought the best. I trained with the best. I know great martial… I know great martial artists and there’s never been anybody, in my opinion, like Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee was unbelievable… absolutely unbelievable, guys! You don’t know how great this guy was, but Bruce Lee was untouchable. This guys was… there’s stories I know about Bruce Lee that I don’t share because I have respect for the people, other people in martial arts. It’s not necessarily name names. I know who Bruce Lee sparred with.

TV Host interviewing the martial artist #1:Â
Yeah.
Jim Kelly talking about Bruce Lee:
I know though… they’d tell you. But I know people he sparred with. I never mentioned their names either. John Doe the Great… great champion. Okay, John Doe.
TV Host interviewing the martial artist #1:
Yeah.
TV Host interviewing the martial artist #2:Â
Who would win in a fight between Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris in your opinion?
GM William Cheung’s Son:
Oh, they did fight and Bruce Lee won. No, no outside but Chuck Norris would never talk about that. He would never say anything. It’s as if it didn’t happen but it…
TV Host interviewing the martial artist #2:
How do you know it happened?
GM William Cheung’s Son:
Well, my dad told me and my dad was in contact with Bruce Lee.
William Cheung (Chinese Wing Chun Kung Fu practitioner and currently the Grandmaster of his lineage of Wing Chun):Â
From one of Bruce Lee’s letters, Chuck Norris was actually defeated by Bruce and became Bruce’s student. Even though, you know he didn’t admit it, he didn’t admit it after Bruce died, yeah.
